John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

I believe that I am called to educate the whole child. I believe that it is my duty to train a child spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically. I also believe that teaching how to apply Biblical knowledge in life will manifest itself in all areas of education.

I have had the privilege of serving as Principal at St. John's for 5 years. I received my B.A. degree in Education from Concordia University, Ann Arbor and my M.A. degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

I enjoy spending time with family. I have a passion for sports (especially soccer). What a joy it is to partner with teachers in nurturing students.  Children are such a blessing; full of desires, concerns, passions, gifts, and much more.  I am honored to be in a profession that allows me the opportunity to help shape and mold children.

We are nine days into 2013.  I strongly encourage everyone to set aside time EVERY day to be reading the Bible.  I would enjoy hearing how you personally experienced the hand of God through your Bible studies and prayer time.

I would like to hear from you:  As a way of being thankful for the many blessings God has given you, what are you doing to return thanks?  What are you giving for others?
