"The Lord has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19
I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher and teach most of the reading and language classes for the upper grades. I also coach our 7th and 8th gradde Power of the Pen teams.
I have taught at St. John's for 12 years, although my full career spans more than 20. Language Arts is my specialty; I love to experience good literature with my students. I believe that my job is not only to facilitate the application of reading skills, but to teach life lessons—both secular and religious—through literature. The students will also say I love to diagram sentences, which is true! I think grammar is FUN!
I live in Marysville, where I am busy with my husband raising two sons. Our older son is in college, and our younger is in high school.
