"For where your treasure is there your heart will be also."Luke 12: 34
I feel very blessed to be part of the staff of St.John’s Lutheran School! As a preschool teacher, I look forward to guiding your children in the early years of their educational and Christian development. Preschool is a time to promote positive learning and to spark an enthusiasm for education in your child’s heart. Learning through play and exploration allows your child to develop the fundamental skills to problem solve and become independent thinkers. Hands on activities help your child develop fine motor skills to promote controlled movements and handwriting. Preschool is the time to learn how to be a learner!
I grew up in Dublin in a home that valued family, faith, and education. I lived with my parents, brother and our numerous pets. I am a member of the New Hope Church in Powell and throughout my adolescence; I was involved in the youth program which impacted my desire to enter the field of education. After graduating from Dublin Scioto High School, I attended the University of Kentucky and received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. When I’m not working with children I enjoy reading, friends, exercising and my wonderful puppy, “Tater Tot”.
