Tuition

St. John's Lutheran School does charge tuition for both member and non-member students. Tuition fees are set in April for the next school year. Tuition can be paid on an annual basis or on a monthly basis. If you choose to pay on a monthly basis, your tuition account will be handled by SMART Tuition Management Services. You will receive the application at the time of your child's registration. The current tuition schedule is available in the Admissions Forms section.

Commitment Fee

An annual commitment fee is charged each student enrolling in our school. This fee helps cover the cost of some textbooks, workbooks, library books, paper products, and art supplies. Each child is to supply their own miscellaneous supplies such as pencils, paper, crayons, scissors, etc. You will receive a student supply list at the end of each school year listing the school supplies for the following year.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance, based solely on need, for Kindergarten through grade 8 students has been established so that no deserving child will be deprived of a Christian education at St. John's Lutheran School. Parents interested in applying for this funding should contact any member of the Board of Christian Education or the principal to arrange a request for an application.

Families experiencing financial difficulties will receive a PSAS form for completion. PSAS is a service that works with St. John's Lutheran School to determine what families experiencing financial difficulties can afford. The written application, available from the school office, or may be printed on-line under Admissions - Forms and a copy of the family's most recent income tax forms are required for final consideration of scholarship fund awards. Applications for assistance (with the exception of emergency situations) should be received no later than August 1 of each year. Final notification of the approval/denial of applications as well as the amount of assistance for approved applications will be made by August 18 of each year for the following school year. All applications should be mailed to PSAS in the envelope provided.
